Upasana Modi, who is known by her social media name, “Viral Modi,” from Gujarat, found that the people around her knew her not only by her name but also by the amazing talent that she presented on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, MX Takatak, etc.

- What makes you stand out from your fellow content creators?
Whenever I dance or act, I get into the characters wholeheartedly. Whenever I am in my costumes, which are sometimes designed by me, I also get into the character that I am about to play. I did not start making videos out of any need. I started performing on the platforms for the rebirth of my childhood passion of acting and dancing. And everyone knows the meaning and worth of passion. For me, it is not only about making some content, but also about making that content worth the time of viewers.
Putting special efforts into bringing the “old is gold” vibes into my videos by matching the outfits and expressions is what makes my content stand out from that of others.
- How long have you been on these platforms?
If we take the least count, then I will say that I have spent a minimum of 2 years on each of the platforms: Tik Tok, Instagram, Tiki, Josh, Rizzle, Moj, and MX Takatak.
- What was the most disheartening moment in your journey, and how did you overcome it?
After being consistently active on Tik Tok for a long span of 6-7 years, it was really disheartening and dreadful to accept the fact that Tik Tok was going to be banned. Undoubtedly, I lost the community of audience that I earned through TikTok, but that community didn’t want to lose me.
Through Instagram, again, my viewers found me and followed me. And it was for these people only that I kept posting videos regularly. It was their constant support that kept me going and kept my passion for dancing and acting alive.
