Second season of Shark Tank India: Gursaurabh Singh appeared to promote his creation, the Dhruv Vidyut Electric Conversion Kit, through his business, DV. He did, however, make a startling request to the Sharks when he requested 100 hours for 0.5% equity. Peyush Bansal, Aman Gupta, and Anupam Mittal remembered him because his video became popular on the Internet in February 2022, shocking the sharks who were astonished to hear that. He expressed his regret to them and informed them that this was one of the main reasons he had come to seek out investors.
Pitcher claimed that he requested time rather than money because he want the mentorship of the Sharks. While clarifying a point, he didn’t allow the Sharks to speak, and Anupam Mittal advised him to do so. Anupam requested that Pitcher build motors, but he responded that he wanted to make this product instead because his motor is 45% more efficient than Bosch motors. Anupam Mittal also requested that he predict a valuation, but Gursaurabh refused, claiming that firms like DV are unable to provide such information. The Sharks were charmed by his motivating speeches and vision, and Anupam admitted as much when making him an offer.
In addition to Peyush, Vineeta Singh and Namita Thapar pulled out of the agreement. Anupam Mittal made him a conditional offer: if he pledged to make $1,000,000 in a year, Anupam would give him 100 hours in exchange for 0.5% stock. Together, Aman Gupta and Peyush Bansal offered him a place in Peyush’s business where he could manufacture the product without paying rent, but they stipulated that they would both be the company’s initial investors. Anupam was invited to join them by Gursaurabh, and together they finished the deal for 100 hours for 0.5% equity.
