But on Friday, she just couldn’t control her feelings.
The picture that Gauri posted featured stills of her husband and his co-stars from the movie Pathaan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, along with texts that provided information about the movie’s worldwide box office receipts. It stated, “Highest grossing Hindi film in cinematic history” (original language). 1026 crore rupees.
The boycott requests had no impact on Shah Rukh, and he declined to comment on the topic. By earning over Rs. 1026 crore at the box office, the movie has now broken every box office record. Given the momentum, it’s unlikely that the film will face any significant dip in the near future.
