The SEC released its whole 2020 football plan Monday night, with Alabama and Georgia getting down to business on Oct. 17 in Bryant-Denny Stadium, denoting the main ordinary season matchup between the Crimson Tide and Dawgs in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, since Nick Saban’s first season as Alabama mentor in 2007.
Different features incorporate Alabama and guarding national victor LSU meeting on Nov. 14 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The two groups have an open date the prior week. LSU hasn’t beaten Alabama at Tiger Stadium since 2010.
Nothing will come simple for Mike Leach in his first season as a SEC lead trainer. Mississippi State faces an exhausting four-week stretch that begins with Alabama out and about on Oct. 31 and closes with a street game against Georgia on Nov. 21.
The prior week venturing out to Georgia, Mississippi State faces Auburn at home. Kentucky faces one of the harder consecutive street extends with outings to Alabama on Nov. 21 and to Florida on Nov. 28.
The long stretch of October could get snappy for Will Muschamp and South Carolina. The Gamecocks play three groups positioned in the preseason Amway Coaches Poll, including street games against No. 8 Florida on Oct. 3 and No. 5 LSU on Oct. 24. They face No. 11 Auburn at home on Oct. 17.
Arkansas, which has lost 19 straight SEC games, faces an overwhelming near the season under first-year mentor Sam Pittman. The Hogs have six games in about a month and a half, including street games against Texas A&M on Oct. 31 and Florida on Nov. 14 and home games against LSU on Nov. 21 and Alabama on Dec. 5.
Florida and Tennessee, groups who have customarily met in September, won’t play until the last seven day stretch of the period on Dec. 5 when the Gators travel to Neyland Stadium. The Iron Bowl meeting among Alabama and Auburn will stay in its typical Thanksgiving weekend opening on Nov. 28.
Path Kiffin, in his first season as Ole Miss’ mentor, goes head to head against his old manager Nick Saban when Alabama visits Vaught-Hemingway Stadium on Oct. 10 to take on the Rebels.
The SEC reported the opening-week record prior Monday and will play a 10-game, association just timetable this season.
The group declared not long ago two extra adversaries for each group to oblige the current eight class enemies. The two extra adversaries were cross-divisional enemies and were chosen, as per an announcement from SEC magistrate Greg Sankey, to “make a calendar that is as serious as could be expected under the circumstances and expands on the current eight meeting games that had just been planned for 2020.”
