Following the success of Ajith’s Pongal release, “Thunivu,” fans are anxiously anticipating the star actor’s next project. Although it had been announced earlier this year that director Vignesh Shivan would be directing Ajith Kumar’s “AK62,” which was scheduled to begin production soon, there are rumours circulating that Shivan has since left the project, and the talk now is that either director Atlee or Vishnuvardhan may take the reins.
Actor Ajith recently travelled to London, and images of the “Thunivu” star taken at the airport have been circulating on social media for the past few days. Now that he appears to have visited London, director Vignesh Shivan has uploaded a little video from Canary Wharf on his social media website. It appears that Vignesh Shivan will end up helming “AK62” starring Ajith Kumar.
The film’s shooting is scheduled to start in Mumbai during the first week of February, as we had previously reported. The film’s filming is expected to be completed in 35 to 40 days. Music composer Anirudh, who had churned out foot-tapping numbers for the actor, like ‘Aaluma Doluma’ and ‘Surviva’, before for Ajith, will be composing the music for the film.
