Houston police said Wednesday they’ve launched an investigation into the alleged disappearance — and discovery — of a 25-year-old man who reportedly had been long gone for eight years.
It was once broadly said over the weekend that Rudy Farias was once “located safe” in Houston after a yearslong search.
But at least one neighbor insists Farias was once by no means lacking and had been dwelling with his mother on their block. The account was once backed up through a neighborhood activist who stated he was once with Farias when he met with Houston police detectives Wednesday.
